Children Ages 4 and 5
Wednesdays from 4:30 until 5:30

Children Ages 6 and Older
Thursdays from 4:30 until 5:30

Summer Introductory Program

Be a GID Kid this summer! The Glencastle summer
introductory program will be held
July 9-12, 2012 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at the
Glencastle Studio in West Allis.

We welcome students ages 4 and older for
this exciting opportunity to learn more about
Irish dance and Glencastle!

Cost:           $60.00 per student.
                   Class fee includes a GID Tee shirt.

Glencastle Irish Dancers, Inc. opened its doors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February23, 2000. We offer Irish dance instruction to children, starting at 4 years old, and adults 18 years of age and older.

We know that choosing a dance school is an important decision. Family, Friendship, Respect, Dedication, Confidence, School Spirit, and Fun are some of the words we stand by and promote at Glencastle. We are proud to be an Irish dance school that offers many aspects of Irish dancing including; competition, solo and team dancing, performances, learning the traditions of the Irish culture and having a great time together. With a combined 70+years of Irish dance experience, our instructors are well-suited to mentor all levels of dance from beginner to championship. Our instructors also provide our students with the opportunity for private lessons.

Ongoing communication between instructors, students and parents is crucial to the success of our program. Keeping our families informed is one of our top priorities. The Glencastle staff offers weekly office hours for parents to stop in or call. We have "Parent Nights" for parents to observe their child's class. We publish a weekly newsletter and we provide our dancers with a copy of the steps that are taught in class.

At Glencastle, our staff firmly believes that our families are top priority. You choose the level of involvement that is right for you. Some students may want to simply learn a few steps, while others look forward to the thrill of performing or competing. Regardless of the direction you choose, the ultimate goal of Glencastle is to provide a learning atmosphere that is both healthy and fun and allows each student to strive to be the best they can be.

From our youngest dancer to our adult dancers, our school maintains a strong balance between the joy of performing and the thrill of competing, without losing sight of the human and relational element.
